Bio
Dena Legg, Immediate Past-President
I began my reporting career in 1995, at Associated Reporters in Louisville, Kentucky. I was privileged to learn the ropes of the freelancing community from some of the most talented and honorable members of our reporting profession. In 2003, I felt a need to explore the captioning opportunities that were available, and after a lot of hard work, began captioning for Caption Colorado. During this time, I also provided CART services at the University of Louisville, which was a fun and interesting experience. In 2004, I was presented with a wonderful opportunity to become an official reporter for the U. S. District Court in Louisville, Kentucky. One of the things that I enjoy the most in this position is the opportunity to see justice in action. In 2002, I began serving KyCRA as editor of The Reporter Digest. I have also served as a member of the board of directors, vice president, president, have served on various committees along the way, and am currently serving as immediate past president. My KyCRA service has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional career. I've had the opportunity to meet and get to know many wonderful reporters during this journey. Being able to attend NCRA Leadership, Bootcamp and national conventions has been an invaluable experience in learning how to become a better leader for KyCRA and our profession. During these meetings and conventions, I have heard many times the famous line from Vince Lombardi that "Leaders aren't born they are made." Please remember this when you are asked to serve our profession and don't hesitate to volunteer to serve and help make a difference for the future of reporting.
Edwardine Luckett, Treasurer

Kathy Nold, Secretary
After working as a legal secretary for 10 years, I decided to switch careers and become a court reporter. There were no court reporting schools in Kentucky at the time, so after doing some research on schools, I enrolled in the court reporting program at Tennessee State University and completed the program in 1988. Yes, I drove from Louisville to Nashville once a week for two whole years!
I have been a free-lance court reporter since 1988 and have enjoyed every minute of it - except the all-nighters, computer crashes, learning a new CAT system, 24-hour turn-around, etc., etc. Most of my work has been in the Kentuckiana area, but I have been fortunate to travel to several other states for depositions as well.
I appreciate having had the opportunity to serve on the Board of KyCRA, and now serving as an officer. Moreso, I have loved meeting all the wonderful reporters we have across the Commonwealth.
I live in Louisville, am married and have two sons and one daughter-in-law.
Natalie Domanico, Director
I am originally from an old steel mill, Italian town called Steubenville, Ohio.
Upon graduating court reporting school, I interned at the Hamilton County Circuit Courthouse, Cincinnati, Ohio and was exposed to arraignments and civil court trials. After my graduation internship was complete, I became a reporter for An/Dor Reporting Services, Inc. in November of 1989, and remained there for 10 years. During that time I, then, went on to pass the NCRA RPR test and presently still hold that certification.
I've now enjoyed this profession of being a full-time, freelance court reporter for the past 20 years; starting my own business in December 1999 to the present.
Associations of which I belong to are NCRA and KyCRA. I am a Notary Public State at Large and Notary Public Special-Commission.
My hobbies include: Cooking, traveling, playing tennis, riding my bike and becoming a certified scuba diver.
I now have the pleasure of looking forward to serving on the Anti-Contracting Committee for KyCRA where I will hopefully gain more experience and build new friendships.
